Este proyecto se basa en la premisa y la incógnita de lo que sucede cuando el tiempo se detiene. Inspirado en el trabajo del fotógrafo y artista Hiroshi Sugimoto, me propuse capturar el tiempo en un ensayo fotográfico y audiovisual, utilizando una dirección artística cuidadosamente diseñada.
This project is based on the premise and uncertainty of what happens when time stops. Inspired by the work of photographer and artist Hiroshi Sugimoto, I set out to capture time in a photographic and audiovisual essay, using a carefully designed artistic direction.

Concepto: ¿cuándo el tiempo se detiene?
Físicamente, el tiempo no puede detenerse, pero la mente que lo percibe sí. La percepción que tenemos distorsiona la realidad física que nos rodea, los instantes de eternidad se convierten en segundos y los segundos en eternidades, todo dependiendo del contexto en el que nos encontramos y de la conciencia que lo percibe. ¿En qué momento parece detenerse el tiempo? En el dolor, en la soledad, en la espera, en la ansiedad, en la meditación, en el dormir, el disfrutar plenamente, bajo el agua sin respirar.
Concept: When does time stop?
Physically, time cannot be stopped, but the perceiving mind can. Our perception distorts the physical reality around us, moments of eternity become seconds and seconds become eternities, all depending on the context in which we find ourselves and the consciousness that perceives it. When does time seem to stop? In pain, in loneliness, in waiting, in anxiety, in meditation, in sleep, in fully enjoying the moment, holding your breath underwater.

Es importante utilizar un cuerpo y un objeto que cuenten una historia por sí solos y que se relacionen con el concepto elegido. El agua es vida: nos compone, nacemos junto a ella, dependemos de ella. Es un elemento que cambia de forma y al que pertenecemos, al igual que él a nosotros. Elegir este objeto narrativo tan fuerte y en movimiento ayuda a capturar el tiempo junto a él.
Narrative object and environment where the story unfolds.
It's important to use a body and an object that tell a story on their own and that relate to the chosen concept. Water is life: it makes us up, we're born alongside it, we depend on it. It's an element that changes shape and that we belong to, just like it belongs to us. Choosing this strong and moving narrative object helps capture time alongside it.
